LADY LIBERTY!!

For Prsident's Day Jenna's first grade class put on a presentation for parents. Jenna was Lady Liberty which she took very seriously. She came home from class a couple days before the presentation and told me she needed a costume. She had great plans for a costume, and mom doesn't have the best sewing skills. Luckily Grammy lives a mile down the street, and she came to the rescue. My neighbor had the perfect fabric, and this is what we came up with. I did help sew a little, but I can't take credit for this outfit.

She took her role as Lady Liberty very serious!! She memorized her entire part, and she did great in the pageant! Here Payton couldn't be left out of the fun!

Here is the best picture I got of the presentation. It was really cute and the classroom was packed! Her first grade teacher is Mrs. Nishida, and it has been fun because she was Aaron's first grade teacher too! She is very creative and that fits Jenna perfectly! Aaron videotaped her performance, but i don't know how to download that to the computer.
